Floyd Community Center for the Arts - Floyd, VA

Our office provided complete architectural and engineering services for the renovation and readapt-use of a 9,654 square foot barn to house rural cultural and business incubator. 4,050 s.f. expansion of the project in 2004 added facilities for a school of the arts, consisting of individual structure for pottery studio, kiln and residence.

Shadow Lake Village, LLC
Blacksburg, VA

The project redefines the typical suburban neighborhood by developing a sustainable living community which facilitates interactions from residents by removing the automobile from each unit and incorporating large amounts of shared green space and public common house. This entailed Master Planning and design of 31 housing units and a common house. The project was completed in 2005.

Town of Pearisburg,
Pearisburg, VA

The firm has worked with the Town of Pearisburg on over eight projects, beginning in 1991 with a Downtown Study and follow-up renovation of "Western Hotel" and former Leggett Building; followed by a 3-building municipal project; swimming pool replacement project and renovation of former pharmacy and an adult/child care center. The current project focuses on Downtown Revitalization which includes the renovation of 33 facades, 16 apartments, and two historic buildings.

YMCA at Virginia Tech

Beginning in 2005, the firm has worked with the "Y" to design the renovation of a 30,000 square foot former grocery store, into space for the thrift shop, open university, and "Y" offices.
